Apple iMac With Retina 5K Display Computer

Wouldn't it be nice if  our computers were as faithful to us as our refrigerators.  We remodeled our kitchen a couple of years ago and up to that time our refrigerator had faithfully worked nicely for us for over 20 years without any repairs.  That is sure not the case with computers.

We recently had been having several very annoying issues with our six year old computer.  After trips to the computer doctor the issues were not resolved.

Things work in mysterious ways ... I just happened to get an email from my dear brother who lives out in Los Angeles, California telling me all about his new computer.  He said, "The clarity of the computer screen was like magically looking out the window."  He and I both have the hobby of photography and enjoy looking at clear, sharp, crisp photos.

He told me about the new iMac with Retina 5K Display, which has only been available on the market for about two weeks.  It did not take me very long to decide it was time for this new computer.

We do not have a local Apple Store but do have a Best Buy.  We placed a quick phone order and the new computer was on it's way and arrived at the Best Buy in about 3 days.  We picked it up and took it to the local Mac Business Systems so they could transfer data from the old to the new computer.

The below photo was taken yesterday at our Garden Club meeting.  The photo shown is a very colorful centerpiece on the Garden Club dining room table.  You can see how the colors pop out and see the sharpness of this amazing Retina 5K Display.

The below photo was also taken at the Garden Club meeting.  This was the decorated table set up for the meeting Program.   Again, you can see the clarity of colors and sharpness of the computer screen.

I am telling you this information about the Retina 5K iMac just in case you, like me, have never heard of this new computer.  Of course, they do not give these away ... I had to get savings out of the cookie jar to make this purchase.  But hopefully it will last a good long time.

Hopefully now that we have a computer that is working nicely I can get back to adding some more Sweet Southern Days blog posts before too long.

Wishing you many blessings during this beautiful Fall season wherever you may be.
